VAT marked International Women’s Day (IWD) 2026 with a week of activities across its global locations, reflecting this year’s theme #GiveToGain. The focus of the week was on creating spaces for exchange, learning and collaboration, while highlighting the importance of everyday actions in strengthening equality and inclusion.

Across Switzerland, Malaysia, Romania, Korea, China and other sites, teams organized a variety of initiatives that brought the #GiveToGain spirit to life. These included interactive learning sessions, mentoring formats, community engagement, and appreciation activities tailored to local habits. Each location contributed in its own way, demonstrating the collective commitment of VAT employees worldwide.

While IWD remains a yearly milestone, VAT’s ambition goes beyond a single moment. The company’s recently published Sustainability Report reaffirms its goal to further increase the representation of women in the workforce and in leadership roles, to reaffirm inclusive hiring practices, and to expand development opportunities. These priorities build on existing programs such as internal networks and mentoring circles which support ongoing progress.
