The German Dual Vocational Training (locally known as GDVT) has been successfully implemented since 2014. This program combines 70% practical training (in company) with 30% theoretical training (in technical school).
The dual vocational training system has proven to be a success story for European economy and presents companies with a well-trained workforce equipped with practical, theoretical, and personal skills tailored to the industry specific needs.
Profession offered: Precision Mechanic (Feinwerkermechaniker/in)
Apprenticeship duration: 3.5 years
Dual Certification: Malaysian (JPK) Advanced Skills Diploma & German Handswerkskammer (HWK) certificate
Precision Machining is a specialised manufacturing process that systematically removes material from a workpiece to fabricate highly accurate and intricately detailed components.
This is crucial in producing parts with stringent tolerances, intricate geometries, and superior surface finishes, making it indispensable in industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and electronics.
Employing state-of-the-art machinery and methodologies, Precision Machining is predominantly controlled by Computer Numerical Control (CNC) systems to ensure absolute accuracy and repeatability.
