With Write to Device an image can be written to a connected controller.

 

 

Devices:

Select the connected controller where the image should be written. If there is only one controller connected the devices field is not visible at all - the image is written to the connected controller.

 

File Info:

Show the Filename, Firmware Version, Valve Series and Interface Type of the loaded image file.

 

Options:

Select if the device settings and/or interface settings should be written to the controller.

 

Load from File:

After clicking the button, browse and select the image file which should be written to the controller. After clicking Open, the file info box is updated.

 

Write to Device:

After clicking the button, the tool is checking if the loaded image is compatible with the selected / connected controller. If the Firmware Version, Valve Series or Interface Type (only if Interface Settings in options is selected) does not match, a warning will be prompted. It is possible to continue, but this is done at own risk. Afterwards another prompt is shown, to finally write the image file to the controller. Wait for the operation to finish - approx. 30 seconds - status bar is then reporting either success or failure.
